Thanks to the financial support from many Institutions, and Funds, and private individuals, the Liberation Museum can begin to play a prominent róle in The Netherlands museum world. In the Liberation Museum the story is told of Zeeland in World War Two. One experiences the forgotten "Battle for the Scheldt" a new, and there is also space for the story of the volunteers from Zeeland who served in the Zeeland Battalion in het former Dutch East Indies in the years 1946 - 1948.

The Liberation Museum is also most grateful to the many businesses in the region who, by their financial support in natura have made it possible to realize this project within the available budget.
